We recommend our resellers and end users check the frequently asked questions (FAQ) section first before connecting Fenton UPS for further services.

This section includes symptoms, their common causes, and corresponding resolutions. The most common problems we have seen so far are old batteries, tripped circuit breakers, or blown fuses, which do not require the user to send the unit back for repair. If you still cannot resolve your UPS problem and your product is still under warranty, then follow our RMA procedure as below:

RMA procedure:

  1. Please complete the RMA form with detailed descriptions of the problem for your product. (download RMA form)
  2. Fax this completed RMA form with a copy of the original purchase invoice to (408) 943-9309. Or send e-mail to
  3. All RETURNING product serial numbers must match with the original invoice. DO NOT mail back your UPS unit without RMA #; otherwise, we will not process your return unit.
  4. The RMA department will fax or e-mail you an RMA number within 3 business days or provide a reason for RMA denial.
  5. After receiving an RMA number, then you may return your defective product to Metapo with freight prepaid by you(NO freight collect). We will tell you what to ship; the whole UPS with or without battery or just PCB. Use the original package box or proper packaging material to avoid shipping damage. Metapo is not responsible for shipping damages.
  6. Your assigned RMA number is valid for 30 days from the issued date.
  7. Please write the RMA Number on the outside of your shipping box (on the address line)
